Awareness Through Movement® Classes

Each class features a different Feldenkrais exercise or “lesson,” and involves gentle movements, done slowly with minimal effort while paying attention to your own experience.

 

The results are renewed health and increased sensory awareness through the Feldenkrais Method®—

a way for people of every age to integrate physical and mental development into a new, invigorating wholeness. Feldenkrais provides a modern-day, practical program for cultivating a healthy mind in a healthy body.  Exercises for posture, eyes, imagination, and more will simultaneously build better body habits and focus new dimensions of awareness, self-image, and human potential.

 

 

Through the Feldenkrais Method, I found grace in a clunky un-embodied body. I found presence where I had been absent for so long. This coming home to myself was a creative, dynamic process.
